Rose Lavelle: Career and Achievements

From 2013 to 2016, Rose competed in university soccer for the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She had a triumphant freshman year, gaining the championship of Big 10 Conference Freshman of the Year and contributing to her group’s victory in the Big 10 Females’ Soccer Tournament in 2014. Lavelle resumed to excel, being called Big 10 Midfielder of the Year in 2015 and 2016. In 2015, she also obtained acclaim as a 1st-team All-American by NSCAA, becoming the foremost Wisconsin Badger since 1991 to gain this recognition.

Rose competed for several teams in the USL W-League during the summers of 2014-2016. In 2017, she was recruited as the No.1 overall preference by Boston Breakers in the NWSL College Draft. She had a triumphant beginning to her professional career but was sidelined due to a hamstring wound, resulting in limited arrivals. Unfortunately, Boston Breakers folded before their 2018 season started.
