Sherrod Campbell Brown was born in Mansfield, Ohio, United States, on 9 November 1952. Brown was raised in Ohio, where he used to live with his parents Emily and Charles Brown. Brown also has a brother who served as the attorney general of West Virginia from 1985 to 1989. Brown went to Mansfield High School, and he completed his schooling there in 1970. Later he got his bachelor Degree from Yale University and soon did his master from Ohio State University.
Brown became a politician by 1975, and later he managed to complete his education as well. He started working as a professor at Ohio State University and worked from 1979 to 1981.
Brown has married twice in his life. He first got married to Larke Ummel (m.1979-1987), and later got married to Connie Schultz in 2004. He has two children as well.

Sherrod Brown started his political journey way back in 1975 when he was made a Member of the Ohio House of Representatives from the 61st District. He held the office till 1983 and achieved decent success. In 1979 he also started working as a professor at Ohio State University. He worked as a professor till 1981.

In 1983, he was made the 47th Secretary of the State of Ohio. He held his office till 1991, and later he shifted from Mansfield to Lorain. He later contested for the House of Representatives and managed to win with a heavy margin. He became a member of the US House of Representatives from Ohio 13th District in 1993 and remained in office till 2007. In 2006, he contested for the senate and managed to win the elections with a majority of 56% to 44%. He is currently the senior Senator of the United States and is doing exceptional work. He became the ranking member of the Senate Banking Committee in 2015 and remained in office till 2021. He held the post of chairman of the Senate Banking Committee in 2021. Sherrod Brown did his early schooling at Mansfield High School and completed his high school studies there in 1970. In 1974, he completed his bachelor degree in Russian studies from Yale University.
