Rinku Singh was born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India, on 12 October 1997. He was raised in Aligarh, where he used to live with his family. He was born and raised in a working-class family, where his father used to work at an LPG distribution center. He is 3rd among five children of his parents. Rinku Singh was raised in a very simple house, where he lived in a 2-room quarter.

He isnt educated, as he rather couldnt afford such things. His financial condition was so poor that he decided to work as a sweeper. Although, he started playing cricket and later did extremely hard work in it. When he got selected for IPL, his whole family became proud of him.

Rinku Singh began his journey in cricket way back in 2014, with Uttar Pradesh domestic team. He represented the team at the Under-16, Under-19, and Under-23 levels and has done very well with them. His debut with them came in 2014 when he scored 83 runs in his debut match. That was his List-A debut. Later, in the 2016-2017 Ranji trophy season, he made his first-class debut. In the 2018-2019 season, he became the leading run scorer in the group stages of the Ranji trophy.

In 2017, he made hisIPL debut with Kings XI Punjab, where he played the 2017 season. Although, he barely played any matches there, and was left unused. Later, in the big auction of 2018, he was chosen by Kolkata Knight Riders, for 80 Lakh. Since then he is playing with KKR and is doing quite well. Although, he still got very little game time, and he often came as a substitute to the field.

He missed the 2021 season because of a knee injury. Later, in 2022, he was again bought by KKR. He got quite a handful of match time in 2022, and he played as a regular in several matches.
