Mila Kunis Biography: Milena Markovna Kunis was born into a Ukrainian Jewish family on August 14, 1983, in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, a city in the Ukrainian SSR of the Soviet Union (now Ukraine). Mila Kunis comes from a Jewish family and has cited anti-Semitism in the former Soviet Union as one of several reasons for her family’s move to the United States. Mila Kunis briefly attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
