Jay White began his journey in 2013, when he made his debut with The UK kid, where he made his varsity pro wrestling debut. He started working for VPW and All Star Wrestling, where he did well in his early career. In his early career, he featured in dozens of promotions, which gave him the exposure and experience.

He also joined New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2013, as Young Lion. After working there for several years, he moved to several other events such as American Ring of Honor and British Revolution Pro Wrestling, in 2016. His journey at New Japan Pro Wrestling continued in 2017 till 2018. While being a part ofNJPW, he managed to win various accolades such as IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, Fifth NJPW Triple Crown Champion, First NJPW Grand Slam Champion, and many more.

In 2018, he joined Bullet Club. He is also associated with All Elite Wrestling, where he is the part of Bullet Club Gold, and he is doing exceptionally well. He has been featured in Pro Wrestling Illustrated on various occasions. His best ranking came in 2019, when he was ranked 12th out of 500 singles wrestlers.
