  1. Thx CA Ridhi for clarification. One more benefit I think in attempting both groups may be – anybody can qualify by attaining minimum qualifying marks i.e. 40% in any subject, if total numbers reach 50% irrespective of any group.

      Basically there are pros & cons both in each case.
      Let’s analyze them –
      If you attempt both groups –
      a) you may clear both at one go! That’s the best part.
      b) in case you don’t clear, you might get an exemption. That might reduce your burden for the next time.
      If you go for one –
      a) Your burden to study will be reduced & you can concentrate more on the selected group. So, more are the chances of clearing it.
      So, depending upon your preparation you should decide & also consider the facts mentioned above.
