Glen Davis started playing basketball in college for Louisiana State University. Davis’s nickname is “Big Baby”, given to him by a youth league coach at nine years old. However, he was immediately traded to the Boston Celtics, where he played from 2007 to 2011.
In 2008 he won an NBA Championship with the Celtics. Davis signed a two-year deal for $6.5 million in 2009. After playing for the Boston Celtics for almost five years, he was traded to the Orlando Magic and played for them from 2011 to 2014. His highest annual salary came in 2014 when he earned $6.6 million. He signed another big contract of his career with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2014 and finished his career with the team.
