As per the data given in the table, the passing percentage and number of students appeared in the exam have been increasing year by year. In 2017, around 3,67,295 students appeared in the 10thexaminations, of which 89% of students have qualified for the exam. The passing percentage of boys was 87 % while girls passing percentage was 88%. As compared to the previous years data, girls passing percentage is higher than boys percentage.
