UGC NET Question Papers, UGC NET Previous (old) Question paper in pdf, Previous (old) Question Papers of CBSE UGC NET for all Subjects -: University Grants Commission conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian Universities and Colleges. On behalf of UGC, CBSE conducts the NET examination twice a year.

We compiled the Question Paper and Answer keys of each subject of the UGC NET examination for the past ten years. Paper one and two of last year’s question papers and answer keys of UGC NET are attached here for free download. All papers are in PDF format.

On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education Will hold the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 5th November 2017 for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian Universities and Colleges. CBSE will conduct NET in 84 subjects at 90 selected NET Examination Cities spread across the country.

Qualifying criteria

Step I :

The procedure and criteria for declaration of result for UGC-NET conducted on July 2020 comprise of the following steps:

Minimum marks to be obtained in UGC-NET for considering a candidate for the award of JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor:
The candidates are required to obtain the following minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III as given below:

Step II:

Amongst those candidates who have cleared step-I, a merit list was prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates.

Step III:

Top 15% of candidates (for each subject and category, have been declared qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. By this method, if the number obtained is less than one, it is taken as at least one, i.e., a minimum of one candidate is qualified wherever a fraction less than one is obtained as per this methodology. However, for fractions greater than one, the figure is rounded off to the nearest whole number.
