DU Application Form 2021

The Delhi University Application Form 2021 for Merit Based Undergraduate Admissions was released on 2nd august 2021. The application form can be filled and submitted via online mode only. The last date to submit the application form for merit based UG admission was 31st August 2021. For PG admission, the application form was issued on 2nd August 2021.

Documents & Details Required to Fill the Application

Here we are providing the documents & details required at the time of filling the application:

  • 10th Class Board Certificate (For DOB) (maximum size – 100 KB).
  • 12th Class Marks-sheet, if result declared.
  • Caste Certificate (If applicable) (maximum size – 100KB).
  • Scanned Photograph & signature (maximum size: 50KB).
  • The size of photograph should be 2 inch x 2 inch (5 mm x 5mm).
  • Identity Proof (maximum size – 50 KB).
  • Income Certificate (for OBC-NCL) (If applicable).
  • Sport Certificate(s) for last three years (If applicable).
  • Extra Curricular Activities Certificate(s) (If applicable).
  • Candidate’s Personal, Qualification, Guardians, Communications & other details.
  • Valid Email ID & Mobile Number.

Step-1: Online Registration

  • Visit the official website of Delhi University (link will be given above).
  • Go through the section “New Applicant Sign UP”.
  • Fill the registration details such as Name, Email ID, Password, Mobile Number, etc. and submit it.
  • A page will open with the user registration details. Candidates should click on the link “Check Out to save this information for future references”.
  • An email will be sent to the registered email to confirm the online registration.
  • Click on the link received in the Email ID and confirm your account.

Step-2: Fill Details

  • A new login page will appear on the screen.
  • Enter your Username and Password and click on the login button.
  • Click on “Apply Now”.
  • The application form will appear on the screen.
  • Applicants are required to fill various details in the application such as personal, educational, course applying, communication and other details.
  • Personal Details: Candidates Name, Category, Gender, DOB, Nationality, Aadhaar Card Number, etc.
  • Family Details: Mother’s Name, Mother’s Occupation, Mother’s Office Number, Father/Guardian’s Name, Occupation, Mobile Number, etc.
  • Candidates also have to fill category/quota details.
  • Communication Details: Address, City, Country, State, Pin code, etc.
  • Qualification Details: Candidates have to fill 12th class exam details like Board, Roll Number, Year, Result Status, Subject Name, Secure marks , etc.
  • Now select the courses you are applying for.
  • Fill sports, ECA, Bank details, etc.

Step-3: Upload Images

  • Go through the image upload option.
  • Upload the scanned images of passport size photograph, signature, 10th class certificate, 12th class mark sheet, category and other relevant certificate (if applicable).
  • Candidates should upload the images in prescribed format.

Step-4: Fee Payment

  • The application fee will be Rs. 100 for general & OBC and Rs. 50 for SC/ST & PwD candidates.
  • Fee payment can be made using debit/credit card or net banking.
  • Go through the make fee payment option.
  • Select the payment mode.
  • Fill the payment details and make payment.

Step-5: Download & Print Application

  • Once the fee payment is done, students can take printout of the application.
  • Click on “Print Form” option.
  • Take the printout of the submitted application form and keep it safe for further use.
