JKCET Counselling 2021, Schedule, Procedure & Documents Required. JKCET Counselling 2021 will be organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOSE). The authority is organizing a state level examination to get admission into various engineering courses. This exam is known as JKCET (Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test). JKCET Counselling 2021
After the announcement of the result, candidates will have to verify their documents at verification centre. It will be started from the Second week of September 2021. The document will be verified from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM. After document verification round, candidates will have to fill online preference form through the official website. This process will begin from the third week of September 2021. Candidates will select their most preferred choices first along with the college of preferences.
Before submitting the preferences, candidates will have to submit the online fee of Rs. 1200. The fee will be paid through credit card/debit card/e-banking. Candidates will have to fill the forms by entering their “Application Number”, “CET Marks”, “CET Roll Number”, “Rank”, “Date of Birth”, etc. After a few days of the choice filling, the authority will release the seat allotment list of the candidates who get a seat in various colleges of J & K. The list will be comprised of candidates roll number, name, rank, allotted discipline & institution.

Certificates Verification
First, candidates will have to verify their original documents/certificates and self-attested photocopies in the verification centre as per the document verification schedule. Candidates will be called for the verification round, according to the rank.
Online Preference Form Filling
After the certificate verification process, candidates will have to fill their choices of colleges/courses as per their preferences. Candidates will be allowed to organize a mock exercise (rehearsal) of filling to get a clear idea regarding their choices. The actual filling up of the preference forms will be started from September 2021. The candidate will have to deposit a Fee of Rs. 1200 through online mode. After submission of fee, the preference form of the candidate will be locked. Candidates will modify their choices till the lock the preferences. After that, no modification will be done.
Seat Allotment
Candidates will be informed through online mode about allotment of seats. The university will release a list of selected candidates for admission. The seat will be filled on the basis of merit-cum-preferences with reservation rule as applicable.
Reporting
Candidates will report directly to the allotted college/institution for admission on or before the last date. Candidates will have to bring all their relevant documents in original at the time of admission. Candidate’s documents will be verified by the concerned Heads of the Institutions. The admission of the candidates will be provisional & liable to be cancelled in case of any false information.
